Earth Dimensions Inc. (EDI) has been a trusted drilling contractor servicing the Buffalo, New York and the northeast for over 30 years. Our drilling division provides geotechnical and environmental consulting involved primarily in the identification and classification of soil and bedrock and installation of monitoring wells. We have a wide variety of drilling capabilities and a large client base. EDI has been retained by industry, engineering and environmental consulting firms as well as municipalities and other government agencies for site investigation and assessment. Many of EDI clients are planning and engineering consulting firms requiring in-depth subsurface investigations.
Soil information prepared by EDI has been used for: foundation design, preparing documentation for regulatory agencies, expansion of existing facilities, bridge replacements, designing protective sheeting for piers and the design of recreational features such as bike paths. Other projects include borings for: landfill expansions, slope failures, sewer and water line installations, design and construction of commercial malls, trucking terminals, office facilities and expanding major industrial buildings as well as subdivisions and home construction. Earth Dimensions, Inc. operates throughout New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio and surrounding northeast states. All employees are OSHA certified with 40 hour HAZWOPER, and are involved in an annual medical monitoring program, multi media first aid and CPR training.
MOROOKA: Deidrich D-50 mounted on a Morooka carrier with rubber tracks. ATV Capable. A Diedrich D-50 is a heavy duty medium sized drill rig for soil and bedrock investigations. This drill is capable of using augers, rotary and core drilling tools. The D-50 is rated to depths of 125 ft. to 250 ft. with hollow stem or continuous flight augers up to 14 inches. It is rated to ft. of core drilling N sized tools. Maximum spindle torque is rated at 4,316 ft. lbs. to 8,650 ft. lbs. Morooka track carriers are designed specifically for off road use and are particularly suited to environmentally sensitive areas. The rubber offer low ground pressure, high performance movement, and excellent traction, combined with the floating boagie wheel undercarriage it makes any terrain accessible.

The D-50 is rated to depths of 125 ft. to 250 ft. with hollow stem or continuous flight augers up to 14 inches. It is rated to 1000 ft. of core drilling N sized tools. Maximum spindle torque is rated at 4,316 ft. lbs. to 8,650 ft. lbs.
D-120: Diedrich D-120 mounted on an international 4900 Truck. A Diedrich D-120 is powerful all purpose drill rig that can handle large diameter hollow stem augers, yet versatile enough to drill efficiently using smaller augers, rotary and core drilling tools. The D-120 is rated to depths of 350 ft. with 6 1/2 inch augers and 2000 ft. with NW series core tools. Maximum spindle torque is rated at 13,903 ft. lbs. to 18,650 ft. lbs.
