THREATENED & ENDANGERED SPECIES STUDIES METHODS AND PROCEDURES

EDI has experience conducting surveys for a variety of species protected under the Endangered Species Act (ESA) and those considered sensitive by individual state departments of environmental conservation. EDI personnel have the knowledge and experience to conduct surveys according to guidelines set forth by federal and state agencies, and prepare threatened and endangered species investigation reports that will satisfy federal laws, regulations and requirements for a variety of development projects including cell towers, landfills and wind parks. EDI ecologists have extensive experience conducting applied research needed to determine the potential impacts of natural resource development on sensitive species and develop comprehensive avoidance guidance and mitigation plans.

EDI ecologists have many years of experience designing and conducting a wide variety of natural resource studies and are skilled in numerous field methods and techniques. Personnel have working knowledge with numerous listed species and are familiar with techniques necessary to study rare and uncommon wildlife and plants.

ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES

The development community is required to adapt and comply with the most current federal and state environmental regulations.  EDI's multi-disciplinary team of professional soil scientists and ecologists have a successful record of managing projects through the planning, permitting and monitoring processes, efficiently and effectively.
