Earth Dimensions, Inc. (EDI) is a soils and environmental consulting firm which was incorporated in 1977 and has been investigating soils and the environment throughout New York and the northeastern United States for over thirty years. EDI personnel have the knowledge and experience that gives them unique insight as to the anticipated soil and ecological conditions, prior to conducting a wetland delineation, mobilizing drilling equipment or deploying personnel to a job site.

DRILLING SERVICES

EDI takes pride in the quality, consistency and thoroughness of our professional soil logs, which are done from the split spoon samples in the field by a senior soil scientist or geologist to allow for accurate description of the soil profile and bedrock characteristics in a less disturbed condition.

EDI conducts all federal wetland delineations in accordance with the guidelines and procedures outlined in the Corps of Engineers Wetlands Delineation Manual (January 1987) and Interim Regional Supplement to the Corps of Engineers Wetland Delineation Manual: Northcentral and Northeast Region (March 2010) and a multi-disciplinary team of professional soil scientists and ecologists perform each delineation.
